COVID-19 Safety Protocol

Thank you for interest in our space.

We take every precaution to keep you and your guests safe, and we ask for your assistance in following all necessary precautions to meet provincial health guidelines and to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Before confirming your rental, you will be asked to present a COVID-19 Safety Plan for your event, to ensure that it meets public health protocols.

The event organizer is responsible for tracking the number of attendees, and tracking the first and last name and phone number of all event attendees. This information must be submitted to the ARC Community Event Centre at the end of the event, as we are required to keep it on hand for 30 (thirty) days.

We thoroughly clean and sanitize the premises before each rental.

Before entering the premises, please ensure that you are wearing clean laundered clothes and have showered.

You are required to provide hand sanitizer for use at all entries and exits.

You are required to provide disinfectant wipes to regularly wipe down all high traffic areas, including:

  • Door handles and knobs
  • Hand rails
  • Sink faucets
  • Chair handles
  • Tabletops
We ask that event participants use a disinfectant wipe to wipe down all washroom surfaces after each use.

When an event has a presenter or presider, a physical barrier must be installed between the performer, presenter, or presider, and the patrons, with at least three meters separation.

Please note that our kitchen facilities are unavailable for use at this time.

In parallel with these efforts, please be advised that social distancing measures are expected to be followed before, during, and after any event. Attendees, organizers, and staff are strongly encouraged to wear a mask whenever possible. If attendees are wearing disposable gloves for protection, please ensure they are changed often, with hand-washing occurring at each change.

Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in administrative penalty or offence under section 99(1)(k) of the Public Health Act.

If you, or any of your guests, have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 (fourteen) days, it is recommended that you do not attend public events, and instead self-isolate.

It is recommended in the presence of the following symptoms that you self-isolate and monitor the effects thereof: fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, unusual shortness of breath, loss of appetite, loss of sense of smell, muscle ache, and/or fatigue.
